SLAYERHOOD

Feb 27 2002 ~ I started with the image of the first slayer captured from Weight of the World; I applied a bunch of filters until I liked the effect, then duplicated the layer and moved it and reduced the transperancy to create the shadowy version to the right of the main one. Then I added a capture of Buffy looking overwhelmed from Spiral, and reduced the contrast until it looked decent. The font at the bottom is John Handy, set to overlay blend, with an outer glow. The top font is Impact, clipped to a copy layer with bevel effects added. The texture is provided courtesy of a patch of cracked mud I came upon while hiking last Sunday. I used the same image to make custom brushes that I used for the borders of the image. This was my first really successful use of my own custom brushes to make a border, & I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
