Ep 121: Two to Go (6/30/2002) ~ As soon as I started thinking about what to do for this collage, I knew it was going to revolve around that great bit where the camera zooms in first on Buffy and then on Willow just before they're about to have at in earnest, Buffy looking stunning & determined, Willow with that wonderful wicked smile. So I plunked those down right away, center stage, and then started adding the other images from there for supporting roles. I used a layer of semi-translucent brown set to "darken" to start off my differentiation of the bands at the top and bottom, and tweaked the levels. I added the "ancient text" bit on the left, and the lightening coming out of Willow's hand and also lightening and texture in various other parts using overlaid stock images, mostly from gettyone.com, set to "dodge" or "screen" or "overlay". Used some custom brushes to tear away at the top & bottom, and also the top and bottom of the "Buffy-Willow-closeups" strip across the center.

Wow, I love the colors of this one. I am a sucker for earth tones ;) I like the two close-up of Buffy and Willow in the center. Very good concept for the episode :) I also like those lightning bolts. So fitting! Great job!
