FURY~ (April 18, 2002) Can you guess which episode I just watched last night? The alt version has some text on it; I don't like it quite as much because I can't help feel the text delutes a bit of the power of all that story black maelstrom space, but I thought I'd post it anyway, for comparison. I wish I could cite a credit for the text, because it came to me all at once like a memory of something I'd read somewhere, but where that somewhere is, I haven't a clue. No search engine turned it up either, but still, I don't *think* I just made it up... The captures are of course from the AtS ep "Forgiving", with the standing Angel and the rubble I used to create the black pit of fury coming from the beginning of the episode and the 3 caps in the lower right corner from that final terrifying scene. I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares of Angel yelling "I'll kill you!"...

Gosh, I have to mention this beautiful "Forgiving" piece called "Fury". It's amazing how much emotions you can convey with your work, I totally love it. This piece is just great, it's one of the best I have ever seen. I love how you used two close ups of Angel and Wesley at the right then a big pit of twirling darkness, to finish with a lonely Angel on the left. (This pic is great btw, can I know where you got it, please?). I like both versions, but it's true the text weaken a bit the general effect of the collage.

Fury is just SO cool... scary! The way he is swooping out of the clouds/smoke, looking over him.. rising like that.. wow.. very powerful and angsty.
