This tutorial will take you step-by-step through creating your own version of the collage shown to the left, and show you how to use masks and layers along the way. All the screen captures are provided, all you need to do is follow the instructions. The tutorial was created for Photoshop 5, but the procedures should be essentially the same for all versions. The instructions are proved via Windows Media Audio files (saved me typing/editing, and allows me to talk you through using Photoshop "live" while you work on the collage. And you get to hear me say "um" a lot, always a bonus <wink>) with some supporting screen shots. Everything you need is in a zip file; after you extract the contents, be sure to click on the HTML file labelled "OPEN ME FIRST". This file acts as an index to all the other files & displays the screen shots. Oh, and btw, I'd love to see what you ended up with after you finished the tutorial, so please send me a jpg of your final product!
